Lira Regional Referral Hospital has scheduled Thursday, 30th July 2026 as the date for Third Hospital Baraza.
The Baraza will be held in the Hospital Grounds and will commence at 10:00am.
The Hospital will also use the day to commission some of the accomplished projects namely; newly rehabiliated section of the police road(220 Meters), covered canopy along the walkways, expanded OPD in the Private wing and Isolation Unit for infectious diseases.
Senior Executive Consultant Dr. Andrew Odur said the Baraza is intended to provide a platform for patients, leaders, and the general public to engage with the hospital leadership on how best to improve service delivery to the population.
“The Baraza are intended to provide feedback from the community members on the quality of healthcare services and recommend improvement in the general healthcare delievery”, noted Dr Odur.
Dr. Odur urgued the public to turn up for the baraza and contribute ideas that will advance quality healthcare service provision to all.
The Baraza will be held under the theme: “People-Centered Service Through Accountability and Strong Collaboration.”
The Director General of Health Services, Prof. Charles Olaro will officiate as the Chief Guest.
